Just a quick post.....getting late and I need to get to sleep. I was invited by Chief to check out this site. I was a member of "the other" board, as you seem to call it over here, and got sick of there crapola! I posted over there that I am done and am moving on. It looks like you people have a great site and I look foward to exploring it. By the way I am a new owner of a Kubota L3130HST and now have 36hrs on her. Love the tractor!!!!!

Welcome to TractorPoint Hillslider! I almost bought a Kubota Grand L machine myself - those are nice tractors.

Curious - where did the moniker Hillslider come from? I hope it wasn't a tractor accident! ....

Welcome Hillslider. Me hopes too that you did not earn that name.

Two weeks ago by Binghamton a guy was mowing across a slope, grass was damp and tractor slide 75 feet sideways down it. It all came to rest wheels up on him. GYD (Graveyarddead). ....

Well I chose Hillslider because I live in West Virginia. You are never on flat ground. Name was not caused by an accident. My little farm is not to steep but I tend to have to go up and down a lot more than across the side. I have had the tractor slide sideways but I was going very slow and gentle at the the time. I really hate the idea of rolling or an uncontrolable slide. So I go slow and take 3 times as long and this is good for more than one reason. It keeps me out of the house longer and keeps a little daughters daddy out of the grave yard! Thanks for the welcome to this site. ....

Well I hope you have an enjoyable time here, I think most people do. Remember to keep a seat belt fastened on a tractor with a rollbar! The roll bar can kill you to if it's not used properly. I don't mean to be nosey but could you call me some time, I'm curious as to what happened with your hoe. 800-859-4483 ....

Welcome indeed!!

Hopefully your stay will be long, enjoyable and beneficial for all.

I was actually approached a while back by 'the other board' itself to come and join them 'over there', I e-wandered around a bit and found the layout, etc., to be less than user friendly, then I made a post and found out what unfriendly was all about, haven't been back since.

Best of luck. ....

The thing with the hoe on the other board was not me. I was only a bystander. The whole discussion really drove me nuts though. It was a bunch of little babies bickering back and forth. ....
